What began as a family legacy over a century ago has evolved into a thriving commercial HVAC and plumbing company dedicated to supporting the businesses that keep South Texas running. A Legacy Built to Last
The Shafer family has been serving the San Antonio area since 1884. Over the years, we have played a role in shaping the city’s skyline, with installations in historic and high-profile buildings such as the Hilton Palacio del Rio, Majestic Theatre, Commerce Plaza, Methodist Metropolitan Hospital, and the Tower of the Americas. In 2019, we formally launched Shafer Mechanical as our commercial division to focus exclusively on the unique needs of business clients.

Shafer Mechanical is part of the larger Shafer Services organization, which includes over 80 dedicated employees. Our team is made up of licensed professionals and tradespeople who bring technical expertise and a commitment to service that shows in every project.
