Since 1988, Shafer Mechanical has been one of the most-trusted names in plumbing and mechanical HVAC. Building on a rich family history in San Antonio that dates back to 1884, the company has become a leader in the development and maintenance of the city’s public and private infrastructure.
Throughout our journey, the Shafer Family has proudly contributed to the growth of San Antonio by installing plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems for many of the city’s most iconic buildings, such as the Hilton Palacio del Rio, Majestic Theatre, Commerce Plaza, and the Metropolitan General Hospital, now known as the Methodist Metropolitan Hospital. Additionally, we have played an integral role in the construction of the Milam Building and the Tower of the Americas.
