Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Function:
- Repair, Diagnose, & Maintain Commercial HVAC Systems. Perform High Quality and Profitable Work.
- Must have 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. and must be willing/able to climb ladders.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Commercial Sales Account Manager
SHAFER MECHANICAL, a leader in HVAC and Plumbing services in San Antonio, is adding a full-time, Commercial Account Manager to our growing team. We are seeking a positive, hardworking individual with prior experience in Commercial Sales and Customer Service.
Under the supervision of the VP of Shafer Mechanical, the Account Manager will perform a variety of specialized duties in support of growing our commercial business. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful customer relationships, provide industry leading mechanical service, maintenance, and retrofit solutions, and set and achieve sales goals. Job responsibilities include assisting in building and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating and closing Commercial HVAC/Plumbing sales, working with operations on project execution, and supporting the growth of Shafer Mechanical.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities – Including, but not limited to:
- Present, negotiate, and sell Plumbing and HVAC solutions using value added approach to existing and prospective customers
- Maintain positive business relationships with your customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and promote long-term solutions
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within set schedule
- Communicate service, maintenance, and projects needs to operational departments to ensure a great customer experience
- Stay current with industry best practices, local codes, and product developments
- Continuously improve through feedback
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial Sales Experience
- 3-5+ years of Customer Service Experience
- 1+ year of Commercial HVAC or Plumbing Experience preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with office equipment.
- Strong typing and written/oral communication skills.
- Excellent selling/negotiation skills and comfort in taking command of situations professionally with respect to team and customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
