Wine cellars are best when paired with Shafer Services Plus
Your wine may be complex, but having your own cellar shouldn't be.
You have only so many bottles in your life, never drink a bad one.
THINKING ABOUT A WINE CELLAR? A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Wine cellars are a great next step to consider as wine refrigerators only hold up to 35 bottles. This will allow you to continue building your collection while storing your wine for longer periods in a humidity and temperature-controlled environment.
Wine cellars ensure optimal taste, storage, and convenience.
While being stored, the two biggest battles your wine faces are fluctuations with temperature and humidity.

CUSTOM WINE CELLAR REFRIGERATION
We work with all types of cellar-cooling systems to meet your needs and budget.
These systems can be set up without the need for ductwork or refrigeration lines – all that’s required is the space to vent your unit into. Cost effective and state-of-the-art, through-the-wall coolers maintain ideal temperature and proper humidity while offering a range of features such as remote control and digital display.
DUCTLESS SPLIT SYSTEMS
A self-contained, through-the-wall, wine cellar cooling unit utilizes a self-contained air handler to remove all heat and noise from the cellar, leaving the cellar silent and fitted with a humidification/dehumidification unit.
These systems resemble a window air conditioning unit, but they are not the same. An air conditioner provides cold blasts of air for short spans of time to create a certain temperature in a room. Spikes in temperature are common with basic air conditioning. Wine cooling units, on the other hand, run much more frequently. They keep a room at a more constant, colder temperature. In addition, self-contained wine cellar cooling units regulate humidity.
